The Barn-House is our most traditional looking home. Featuring two-story post & beam frames, they provide a great deal of flexibility in size, floorplans, and door and window placement. Shelter-KitŪ Barn-House kits are available in sizes ranging from 880 to 2,500 square feet and up, and can be designed in a variety of configurations, including Tees and Ells. They are available with loft floor openings, dormers, other siding options and many different windows and doors.

Expandable Lofthouses

Post and Beam Lofthouse Kits

Post & Beam Lofthouses are affordable two-story, gable roof homes. Like our other products, Lofthouses are available in a range of sizes, and offer a great deal of flexibility in floorplans and door and window placement. They can be expanded at any time by adding Shelter-KitŪ Decks, Porches, one-story Lean-Tos, and two-story Extensions in 8-foot increments. Lofthouses are used as primary and vacation homes.

Unit One Cabins have been in production since 1970. Packaged and delivered in manageably-sized bundles, they are ideal for assembly on remote sites. Though individually compact, Unit Ones can be seamlessly expanded in any direction at any time by adding Shelter-KitŪ Decks, Porches, Enclosed Porches, and additional Unit Ones. Unit One Cabins are used as studios, workshops, camps, and primary and vacation homes.

Barn Kits and Garage Kits are classic in style and extremely versatile. Our two-story post & beam kits are available in sizes ranging from 16' x 16' to 26' x 64'. Each is designed with a spacious loft area on the second story. Our customers have used Shelter-KitŪ Barns for a variety of purposes, from working barns and run-in sheds, to guest houses, poolhouses, and retail shops.
