Shelter-Kit® Barn and Garage kits are functional, sturdy and handsome. They are made of hand selected, top quality pre-cut lumber. Members in the post & beam frame are joined together with heavy, plated steel hardware and fasteners. Shelter-Kit Barns are available in widths from 16' and up, and in any length from 16' to 64'. We also offer Run-In Shed kits (Click on the "Run-In Shed" link at the bottom left of this page for information). All of our kits are designed for assembly by people with no building experience. You will not need power tools to assemble your Barn/Garage or Run-In Shed kit.

We have invested hundreds of design hours to ensure that people with no carpentry skills can easily construct and customize their own Shelter-Kit Barns. Bankers, real estate brokers, artists, lawyers, computer programmers . . . our barn construction manual is written in your language. It includes straightforward, step-by-step directions and illustrations that guide you through every part of construction, from site preparation right down to the trim.

Shelter-Kit® Barns are very versatile, and can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including a garage, animal barn, workshop, studio, or a combination of work and living space. We can customize your barn to meet your requirements with loft floor openings, tee or ell configurations, larger roof overhangs, shed & gable dormers, window and door sizes and placement, etc.  Our smaller barns and run-in sheds are a higher quality, competitively priced and attractive substitute for a backyard shed.  Call or email us for more information.
