Shelter-Kit buildings are produced one at a time, in limited quantity. This allows us to modify buildings to meet individual needs while assuring the highest quality possible. This also means that lead times can be lengthy. Call or write for more information.

Drawing Packages Are Available from Shelter-Kit

We offer two types of drawing packages.  Before ordering a drawing package check with your building department to be sure the package is needed.

  1. Shelter-Kit Drawing Package, available for Unit Ones, Lofthouses, Barns and Barn-Houses.
     
    This package is based on sketches provided by the customer, and includes three sets of these drawings. They will be drawn at the scale of 1/4" = 1'-0", and printed on 11" x 17" paper. Note that the drawings are not stamped or signed. Included are:
    floorplan(s)
    elevations
    foundation plan
    floor framing plan(s)
    wall framing plans
    roof framing plan
    sections
    details and specifications.
    The Shelter-Kit Drawing Package costs $350. If the building shown is purchased within six months of the date of the drawing package this fee will be deducted from the price of the building.
     
  2. Structural Drawing Package, available for Barn-Houses, Barns and Lofthouses.
     
    The drawing package is stamped and signed by a licensed professional engineer, and is available for all states. Most of the drawings are at the scale of 1/4" = 1'-0". They are printed on 11" x 17" paper. Three sets are included. They include specifications, connection details, and framing plans and details for the floor(s), walls and roof.
     
    The cost of the Structural Drawing Package is $650. This fee is not deductible from the price of the building.
